
XOX and Kuala Lumpur City Football Club (KLCFC) have joined forces through XOX’s sports marketing arm partnership, XOX Pro Sport, to provide the public with XOX’s extensive range of products and services.
The first products to be launched as part of this partnership are several co-branded mobile plans by ONEXOX Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of XOX, aimed at the dedicated fans of KLCFC. Those who subscribe to XOX’s mobile service will have access to exclusive news, content, multimedia updates, promotions, and other exciting offers, which will be phased in over time.
“The club is undergoing a transformation and is currently focusing on its commercial aspect. With a growing fanbase of over 200,000 individuals accumulated over the years, the club intends to capitalize on this advantage to ensure its long-term business sustainability,” said Mr. Stanley Bernard, CEO of KLCFC.
“XOX will make its suite of products and services available for KLCFC to collaborate and partner with, including but not limited to, ongoing social media content, automated vending machines, merchandising, royalty programs, and fintech services,” said Mr. Ng Kok Heng, Group CEO of XOX.
“By being affiliated with Perak FC, and now KLCFC, XOX has expanded its reach to an urban fanbase with 100% growth in fans, as well as corporate entities involved in the sport,” he added.
A similar commercial model is already underway through XOX’s wholly-owned subsidiary Perak FC and has seen some level of success in replicating XOX’s original strategy.
